I have 2 things that I've been trying to figure out for a while now.
My question goes out to the LE owners that were given the same exact below print out:
20190830_081811_1_1.jpg

1) Did your car come with CF mirror caps already installed and there was no other cap to be found OR was the CF given separately?
Mine came with only CF and I've yet to see any other LE owner with CF (all white LE's i came across in forums, FB, IG has red caps.)
This is less of an issue.

2) more importantly did your car come with bumper ppf?

Reason for my question is as shown above, I was promised this and did the paperwork with ppf included in the price. I was assured everything in the list would come preinstalled!

With excitement and trust, i didn't exactly check, well i did briefly and i was like, "damn they did a great wrap job, can't even tell if it's on", point was to take possession asap.

Over the weeks I didn't read too much into it. Washed the car bunch of times still being an idiot, somehow believing ppf is there and also because I've been trying to find a freaking dealer that has Xpel and isn't busy!
Anyhow come to wash it again and i find few small chips on the bumper and this turned on the angry switch!

Obviously, to my initial suspicion at purchase, it didn't come with ppf and i hadn't checked the window sticker, because why would I? I've been following this thing for months and know exactly what to expect. Anyhow come to check it, ppf is not listed in the sticker...

Also, when I went to the dealer, sticker wasn't actually on the car to begin with. As I was getting in the car on the day, because of cargo mat, new sticker was printed out and was handed to me. Obviously I took it and placed it in the trunk right away...

So, question still stands, but also a caution for anyone who may be in the same boat or about to pull the trigger.

I took this up with the dealer today and they said it's not them, so they'll escalate to Toyota.
I've chips and $395 + tax for a no show ppf!

Mine is still under inspection hold. I plan to look closely for paint imperfections, body panel alignments, and interior before taking delivery or signing papers. The PPF provided by the dealers do not fully extend and wrap around the edges. I didn't want the option at all but the PPF provided is supposed to be installed at the ports and not at the dealer, so there wasn't a choice but to accept it. Same for the CF mirror caps. I have read other people saying they also had no choice to take it off their build either. I'm sure majority here agrees if we are paying $925 for mirror caps, then we should still get to keep the factory mirror caps.

PPF and caps are port installed options. You won't get the old red caps. If someone wants to keep them, it would be better to order the CF caps separate and install later. I bet the port just tosses the red caps in the trash, even though they would be worth money to many people.

Bumper PPF option is $485, and it looks like that was not ordered on the car. The $395 option that you have covers the hood (front edge), fenders (front edge), mirrors, and door cups (all this info is on the Toyota website if you build a Supra, BTW). Those would all be pretty obvious -- do you see them on the car?

My Premium has this listed on the sheet also, thanks for the heads up - will have to double check when I take delivery.

BTW, Iā€™m really puzzled that neither mine nor the OPā€™s includes the front bumper ppf. My car -literally- has every other option, why not the complete ppf?

I also inquired about not getting the carbon mirror covers and was also told the options canā€™t be altered now.

Yeah I made sure I check everything during pick up and before finalizing the paperwork. I noticed that the initial spec sheet I was provided months ago was different from what showed on the window sticker when the car arrived. I think one of the reason for the delay was that they had to reprint the window stickers for the cars because I believed a lot of the LEs were equipped with the cargo net initially. Well they way they designed the car, the cargo net was not going to work. On my car, I was also suppose to have the PPF installed from the port according to the original spect sheet, but on the final window sticker it was removed. Well I didnā€™t want it to begin with since they donā€™t wrap around the edges.

It lowered the MSRP of the car though. I only got drivers assist and a cargo mat on my LE. Iā€™m sorry to hear about the rock chips on your car. The only way to truly get rid of it would be repaint... Iā€™m sure you wouldnā€™t want to do that on a brand new car

My LE car was planned with the CF mirrors. When I found out they were grey/black and did not come with the red caps, I told my dealer that I wanted the red caps or I would not by the car. The car came with the red caps and I bought the car. Maybe the dealer took care of it when it was at the port. For the LE if the car is sold with CF caps, the red caps should also come with the car. But this is not the case.
For the PPF I had it replaced it with Xpel full Hood and Fenders w/ wrapped edges, bumper, mirrors, and headlights and with ceramic coating.

For the PPF, my car has one on the hood, not the bumper. I remember reading somewhere that the bumper is a separate option.

Correct. $495 for the front bumper which honestly seems like it would be a nightmare to apply. Odd that in the cash grab options dogpile, they left this off...

Does anyone know if the red mirror caps can be bought anywhere online?

My white will come with the standard and I can find CF ones online to buy but not red.

Iā€™m thinking of wrapping or painting red as I like the look but easier if I can get red caps.

I've heard that the Red Mirror Caps will come unpainted even if you order them as "Red Launch Edition Mirror Caps" so you might ass well paint or wrap* I wanna say there was a post on here from an individual either from Australia or New Zealand who experienced this.
