Good point. If that's the case, I'm not sure if there's a way for us to know which 43 VINs are associated with those cars other than tying out each and every LE number to a VIN.

I'm updating the Google document to track what gets posted here, but Bimmercat seems to be acting up. It's really annoying that both the sites utilize reCAPTCHA; otherwise, this process could've been automated much more easily. You all wouldn't happen to be aware of a site that is less sophisticated (i.e., doesn't have reCAPTCHA) that has the same information as https://bimmercat.com/ or https://decoder.bvzine.com/, would you?
Press cars are usually sold at some point to dealers. Unless they are preproduction. Think these very limited unmarked LE cars will be a collectible. Less then 50 made I’m guessing

Can someone explain to me why I'm counting 1544 on the master list of Launch Edition Vins? I stubbled across the master list and I was confused on why the list is 1544 long and not 1500. Anyone who has listed their Launch Edition should be able to verify that their vin is on this master list.

I found the list here: https://www.supramkv.com/attachments/le-txt.14216/

Pre production and test cars?
That could be, but I think that You Drive's guess that they're press cars is the most likely reason for the extra 43 cars given the production dates. I'm slowly working my way through the entire list in the Google spreadsheet, but for the time being, I filled in the production dates for every 50th car. The one that was produced and sold for $2.1 million was produced on February 6, 2019 - it was the only one produced on that day. The next batch started from the next day (February 7, 2019). 50 cars later, the date of production was still only February 14, 2019.

I guess 44 of the cars that are being considered "Launch Editions" on that list shouldn't really be because they don't have the LE# (which is the only real distinction for the LE cars; you can buy the red carbon fiber mirror caps, red seats and black wheels simply by ordering those part #s).

As we know, there are gaps between the VINs because they were producing all of the Supras (the Launch Editions, the A90 Editions, and all of the other trims for the other Supra going both to the U.S.A. as well as to other countries) at the same time. For example, VIN WZ1DB4C01LW020726 and WZ1DB4C01LW020728 are on the LE list, but WZ1DB4C01LW020726 is not. If you look up that VIN, it is "MEDITERRANBLAU METALLIC (C10)" (which is the BMW equivalent of "Downshift Blue"); all 3 of these cars were produced on April 8, 2019 and are designed to be for the "Language Version" of "English." Similarly, VIN WZ1DB4C01LW020311 was produced on February 15, 2019 and it was "ATACAMAGELB (B21)" (which is the BMW equivalent of "Nitro Yellow"), but the "Language Version" is "Japanese."

To ask another question, why was my link or the original list associated to this website. SupraMKV.com the site owners or someone stored it here on the server. Anywho regardless of color who ever gets #1500 probably has a very Valuable Launch Edition.... I mean obviously #1 is worth something but #1500, that'd be something...

These guys were firm at 20k over a few weeks back. I guess reality set in and they decided to come off that price.
