Sounds like I need to trailer my supra home. Was hoping to fly and drive, but no options for a clear bra installed prior to pickup. 600 miles on open aluminum with rock guard. What is the best way to strap it down? Have race ramps, so should be able to load. Besides wheel/tire straps, what factory tie down points are there?

Thanks

Front and rear tow hook mounts in the bumpers, though the car only comes with one tow hook so you'd need to source a second one if you use both mounts.

I don't know if this helps, but most cars are now secured on the car carriers going to dealers by straps that go around each tire. I don't believe they use the tow hooks for transport much any more.

Did everyone receive at least 1 tow hook when you picked up the car?

Did you check for oblong slots in the undercarriage? If they exist, T-hook straps can be used.

Where is the pick up point for the Supra?

Please listen to me as I have 9 years in transporting my race cars to and from tracks without one single issue. Strapping a car down correctly is the most important thing, safety first.

Pull strap through the rim not around it and not to any tow hooks!, connect to ratchet system....make sure you cross them and tighten down.

So pull strap through rim and out the other side, combine and connect to end hook of ratchet system, then cross the tie downs, Left to right/right to left. Sample pic below, don't mind the jar of milk...supporting a friends local farm.

I’ve had my rims scratched from being tied down like this. I recommend taking the sleeves off an old sweatshirt and pulling the straps through them before putting them through the rim. Personally I prefer the style that goes over the tire as opposed to going through the rim.
