Supra Connect for Android option

For those of us who are not IPhone peeps...

You can still register at SupraConnect.ca and control your car from your phone.

Better than nothing!!!

I also tried downloading the Android app for BMW from another country... But once you enter your VIN it tells you it will not allow you to proceed.

I downloaded the UK one but it won't accept my vin.

I'm wondering if this is some kinda paid service for that and the in car applications. The built in app's like weather just say no connection.

I'm not really bothered as I have no use for in car news/weather app's, but I'm curious as to what needs to be done to get it to work.

Having had a few BMW in the past, I loved the BMW Connect App (Android). I used it alot to send locations to the car and to also set the ventilation timer.

I also tried to register the Supra but the VIN was blocked. I tried it on the BMW Connect webpage and also the app. Both were blocked. If the data communication from Supraconnect.com works via webpage then there has to be a way for the app to work too. At least you can just go to the webpage version on your phone.
