We've created this space for new and old SupraMKV members to introduce themselves so please tell us a bit about yourselves and welcome everyone as they come in!
Hey guys, happy to have found this forum. I'm joining with the hope that the FT-1 will be built and I can add it to my garage some day in the not too distant future. A Toyota started my love of cars and I've always really appreciated the heritage of the brand. Below are a few pics of my cars. Happy to be here and I hope to learn and contribute to the boards.
The car that started it all for me. My 2002 Toyota Solara. Slow as hell but it looked good and got me wrenching.
My 2012 Shelby GT500, built for TX2k and runways. Certainly not a Ford guy but the car is impressive and the heritage and community around the car are great.
And lastly my project car - 91 Lexus LS400. The stock 1UZ-FE doesn't run so the plan is to do a twin turbo LS swap, upgrade suspension and brakes, and otherwise keep it as close to stock as possible.
Thanks man, I didn't see a member introductions thread anywhere so hopefully it's in the right spot. The Shelby is fun but only for certain things. I think the FT-1/supra will be a much more capable all around car for curvy roads and I'm sure the build quality will be much better.
Hi John, Welcome to the party. Be prepared to see a lot of speculative threads here. No one really knows what the Supra will be. BimmerToy has done a good job of not giving us much. I'm hoping the end result will be as much or better than we all hope to see.
Hi Guys,
Thanks for welcoming me to the community. Here's a quick lowdown of myself.
My name's Tim, 27.
I live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Im a big car guy and have a passion for Japanese cars which started in about 2009.
I bought my first sports car back in 2010. Which was a 1995 JZA80 Supra (NA).
Went to town on that, boosted it etc. Loved it to Bits!!!!
Still regret selling it to this day.
Now, I drive a 2002 Silvia S15, forged SR.
Also love this car to bits too. Done a few track days, skid pan days etc, etc.

Love having a good read on here and see whats happening with development, spy pics and speculation on the new ''Supra''.
I think part of the reason is because I was such a big fan of the MKIV, im dying to see whats going to happen with this one.
Anyways, i wont go on and make this too long lol.
Happy to be here & happy to say hello.

Tim.
