Does anybody know all the locations where the factory has applied a protective film to all Supras?
I don't mean the transportation wrap, but rather a permanent film.
If you look closely at the bottom edge of the plastic garnish on each door, it looks like there is protective film - you can see the edge - it is not wrapped over the bottom edge of the plastic. Do you have this on your Supra?
Is there film applied at any other locations?

My Non-LE has the PPF on the hood and the door cups as mentioned above, and I paid $395. What's odd is that the Toyota website specifies that the $395 cost would include Fenders and Mirror Backs as well.

These aren't factory options. They show it as an option but it's installed by the dealership just before PDI is complete.
Nope, it's not a dealer-installed option.

The film I am wondering about is not an additional cost option. The film I think I see is on the plastic garnish on the door (near the fake door vent). Does your Supra have this? Is there film any where else that is not an extra cost protection?

I just looked at photos of the Supra I test drove and the Supra I ogled at a dealer and I see no film on the door. Maybe post a picture of what you think you are seeing.

I know it’s hard to see but is that that oem ppf? Should I keep it take it off? Is it worth getting after market ppf Instead of that?

Might as well leave it and see how it does / ages. If the quality shows to not be very good, I'd recommend the self-healing Kavaca PPF from CeramicPro. My Supra is having it done as we speak...I'll post up once it's completed.

You'll likely find that the edges of the film will catch dirt and grime and will be noticeable as time goes on. No matter how hard you try to clean it, you can't remove the dirt on the edges.

At least you have something now that will provide protection. If the look bothers you now, you should look into replacing the OEM film. Otherwise, leave it on for now and replace it when you really start to dislike it.
