Yup I just did that. God I hate myself right now.
What sucks is that I wasn’t even pushing hard for a time. It was towards the end of my warm up lap, just run a tiny bit wide and caught the grass, and that was that.

Don’t know if the car is totalled or not, I luckily had a stroke of brilliance and purchased track insurance yesterday morning, it’ll still be a financial lost but oh well. As soon as I get more news I’ll share with you guys.

Either way, this won’t be the end of the TA90. Whether we attempt to fix this one (tough with all the computer errors and warnings, plus parts availability) or just get another one to start again, I’ll be back into it!

Dude, that sucks. Glad to see you're ok.

Gotta say, I like your enthusiasm and positive attitude. Can't wait to see this Phoenix rise from the ashes!

Best of luck!

That's great you had track insurance! It would have really sucked without it. 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

That really sucks but the important thing is that you are alright. Cars can be fixed and tracked again. I hope it will all work out for you but it will be awhile before another A90 is ready. All the best!

Bummer Jackie. At least you’re ok and your passenger only had to plug up her nose.

Good thing you’ve got track insurance. Chalk it up as a loss and retool another MKV.

So the car has been pretty much totaled. I'm still waiting on final confirmation from the insurance side but the fate has been decided.I'll be in the market for another A90 in the next week or so, hopefully back on track early October. I just can't keep myself still ha. Trying to make the best out of a bad situation, and really all I could think about is how to get back in the car ASAP. Thanks for all the support guys. More update to come.

Oh man, I hope you get a big check to get another car. Wonder what the insurance company would want for it salvage wise.

Think of it this way, now you have a donor/parts car. Not too shabby.

That sucks man, but thankfully you´re ok.

A few years ago I had a similar situation in the 911 turbo. Brake failure, went off track at 110mph. The car still lives, and I did ok too, but I promised myself I would never go 10/10ths in a fast street car again; there is just too many things that can (and will) go wrong. You may consider a roll cage and full safety gear for the next build, that would be my 2 cents.

Hope the insurance treats you good and you can race again soon!

I re watched the video in high detail paying close attention his passenger is really short or is a quadriplegic because i see no legs. Or she was in the trunk?

On a more serious note I'd like to purchase the chairs and several interior pieces. Maybe even the motor if it's intact which i think it is.
