So, it’s in the body shop today—finally, after several shops turning it down because “we ain’t worked on one” or “we don’t do aluminum” or “there are no parts for that” and so on and so on.

I got hit on the rear driver side (by a SUV) pretty much dead on on the wheel. Minimal body damage, mostly paint, a couple of dents, and unknown damage to everything behind the wheel.

Could be worse.
Make a diminished value claim with the insurance company. The accident will show on a carfax and could/will lower the resale/trade value. They will offer you a lowball amount but counter back.

That’s what I did when my 86 was rear-ended.

yup thats gotta hurt.

i was cleaning my car yesterday and just came back 160 miles of driving on highway to PA, i saw many paint chips already on my yellow supra..pretty pissed off. I had the xpel clearbra for 1 week and didnt have the time to install this.

my stupid mistake!!!!!
