Ordered A91 edition Supra
My "argument" is real simple. She got the house she wanted, she got the crap she wanted to fill it, she wears what she wants, so I drive what I want. She knows I would NEVER buy outside our means, so she doesn't say anything. I ask her if she likes it, her opinion on which colors she likes, etc. But I decide what I will get to drive.

My wife approves of the Supra, and was encouraging me to get it so she could drive the ZR1 more:nono:

Mine loves it because:
a) She likes driving it and
b) She's "claimed" the top spec AMG A35 I bought earlier this year when I got bored of waiting for Toyota to announce anything! The only real loser is my bank account :(

We just came back Japan and she fell in love with it in the Toyota showcase in Tokyo after seeing it up close.
I’m really only getting it because she wants it.

That and she makes twice as much money as me and wears the pants.

But hey, I can be tough online.

My wife knew upfront about my car problem. I told her I won't ever complain about her purchases as long as she leaves my cars and corresponding parts alone and we stay within our means. She even let me park the GT-R in the middle of our wedding reception for some awesome shots and do a launch control send off. Haha

The only thing she doesn't like is coilovers that leave the ride too harsh. Other than that we are good.

My husband was all for it. We walked into the dealership planning to buy the Supra and he saw a Tacoma TRD Sport all tricked out that he loved so we bought that too. Now we have to share both :rofl:
