As someone on both the outside looking in as a consumer and as someone that worked on the project, I really don't care for the interior. IMO, it has a very boring cluster/dash/steering wheel (I do like the CF switch panel). I generally love the rest of the car though.
Killed the exterior but not so much on the interior. A sportier steering wheel and shifter would have improved the feel

How many interior color choices did the MKIV get again?
Who or what are you defending here?
The OP wants interior colour choice and the C8 has what he or she likes.

What is your actual point?

Better value? There's hardly a passenger seat!

This is simply not true. I sat in this passenger seat several times, it is very roomy. The cockpit is canted toward the driver, but the passenger area is just fine.

Because it being partnered with BMW is incredibly irrelevant to the number if interior colors and without the partnership Toyota isn’t known for having tons of options either.

My theory is that Toyota offered black only because they wanted to create perceived value for the launch edition model. Once the 1500 are sold out I expect they will offer black or red interior for 2021. Since Toyota Australia already does this it would seem to be the logical outcome.

It's lacking a manual transmission option, chiefly :D

Other than that I never expected this car to have many interior color options. The LE accents are kind of odd IMO. The full black interior on the GR's I expected. I believe the only other interior option the A80 saw was a tan on black with the relevant plastic and soft touch interior pieces being black across the board. I'd expect the same for the A90.

That is unless Toyota plans to bring back the dull red and dull blue interiors, recalling the interiors of the MKII and MKIII Supras.

It's also odd that Tetsuya Tada actually poured more cold water on the possibility of a targa roof A90 than he previously had poured on the possibility of a manual version. A targa doesn't appeal to me over a hard top but many people like targa sports cars (and the Supra has historically had targa versions as we all know) and the body structure is more than capable of accommodating one so it would seem.

The only thing Toyota dropped the ball on was the steering wheel and how small the paddle shifters are. Id much prefer slightly bigger aluminum, not plastic paddle shifters. Also the god awful wind buffet noise after 50mph.

I wish the entertainment system included Android Auto, but other than that, I am very happy with the Supra.

I would say a manual transmission
Yes the ZF is one of the best autos and gives an engaging experience
But something driver oriented like the Supra, it would be nice if it had a manual transmission
Hopefully Toyota gives the Supra a manual transmission at least as an option

Lacks the manual transmission, targa top option, turbo boost gauge or readout, bigger paddle shifters in aluminum or carbon fiber, more customization options for the normal vs sport mode settings, Android Supra Connect app, the whale tail spoiler, and race light tail lamps. Just my opinion :D I love the car otherwise. It gets tons of attention everywhere!

I am surprised nobody mentioned this... No front camera, and side view mirror cameras to prevent curbing your wheels. The parking sensors alone, are not good enough. Many BMWs, in fact have the additional cameras.

IMHO the car lacks simplicity - or at least that option

Less sensors, luxury shit, superfluous junk. Less creature comforts. Less electronic knick-knacks.

- Lightweight Recaros
- Good data display/race timer screen
- Louder exhaust
- Standard dampers (track setting)

perfect
