Most of these people are just jumping on the bandwagon because they know they'll get a lot of views since there are huge numbers waiting to see what happens with the Supra good or bad.

These people will soon find a way to complain about the C8. Haha

The Scotty Kilmer formula I've grown to understood is that every modern car is trash. If he can't work on it, then it's trash. Modern amenities is useless junk made to inflate the price and make the car more unreliable (I slightly agree with this).

Basically, if I'm watching one of his videos, I need a jar of salt next to me. My guess is most of his audience are ppl stuck in the mid to late 90s. Got to give your audience what they expect. To me, it's more fun to scavenger a video or clip of him liking a modern car, then the hundreds of him labeling them junk.

Scotty is just being Scotty and voicing his opinion. On the bright side, the owners of those 7 cars are getting a new Supras. Nobody likes recalls, especially Toyota and not really surprised since it's first year production.

He should have said it was just 7 cars. Made it sound like all cars were being recalled. Pretty much like I told you they were junk

Doesn't sound as radical if he says only 7 cars are affected. I've seen this guys videos before....more or less just a raving lunatic. Can't believe he has 2.7 million subscribers.
Every time I watch his videos, I automatically assume he took 2 shots of Marker's Mark prior to hitting the record button.

He does seem to appreciate his Porsche Cayman S "ragged" and with a CEL on so he can't be that crazy.

Definitely animated character. It’s his opinion but just get the facts straight before you comment to 2.7 mil subscribers

It seems like his target audience would be people who only see cars as point A to B and little else (aside from maybe basic tech/creature comforts). Don't get me wrong, he seems to have solid advice for those who simply want to have a car that will last a long time and not drain money constantly repairing it. This is targeting a completely different market.

The unfortunate truth is that with all the tech on cars these days, there's much more stuff that can go wrong. I think most people that buy sports cars understand the game they're getting into and probably either don't put many miles on the car, plan to trade-in before a certain point, or just plan to enjoy the car as much as possible and hope for little issues.

I personally am not really concerned about the engine, but more the electronics. Even Scotty has said that BMW makes good engines, but he's wary of BMW electronics.

I like Scotty Kilmer he’s one of my favorite Youtubers and he gives some good tips on buying, maintenance, repairs, etc.
And he has a good sense of humor
Some people may think he is biased but he often tries to be not biased and even talked about the best things of cars like BMW, Mercedes, Porsche,Volvo, etc.
Chrysler is trash and Scotty is right about that (well the SRT8, Hellcat, Demon, and Trackhawk are pretty good cars)
But then there are a few things I would disagree with him like the 86 and Supra
The 86 has the Subaru engine and is a platform done by both Toyota and Subaru but the 86 is not a rebadged Subaru
The BRZ is actually the rebadged Toyota as the 86 is Toyota’s design inside and out both are good cars don’t get me wrong but honestly I prefer the 86 as it shows inheritance from the beloved AE86 (Adminroku!)
Same thing with the Supra the chassis is based on the Z4 hence it’s dimension but it’s specially made by both Toyota and BMW the exterior and interior design is by Toyota and they even incorporated their own parts for this car which means it’s not a rebadged BMW
Also showing the way the Supra and Z4 drives they are both different cars
I can see why people still say these kind of things especially as jokes but it’s get annoying when they are overused and it should be dead by now
So the 86 is not a rebadged Subaru and the Supra is not a rebadged BMW

I agree with you Scotty is just stating the facts and speaking out his opinion but even there are a few things I disagree with him
