Ok cool, just making sure I'm not losing my mind. Here, for everyone else I'll post the pics here as well.

Thanks Justin. Ok.... this looks a LOT better than when I first saw your picture. I wasn't clear on where the base was mounted but on the side like that is brilliant. This was the iOttie, right?

Also, will it fast charge plugged into the usb socket like you have?

This is the one in the pics. I have this mount in the Supra and Both BMWs. I will need to verify fast charge. but i will say it charges the Galaxy S8 active and S10+ with no issue plugged into the USB. Even while using it for logging as i checked that the charge was steadily increasing while logging and it was. Hopefully that helps.

What mount is this? Links would be appreciate it.

For what it's worth, custom-to-car VSM mount systems (onto which you can mount a cellphone, iPad, Garmin GPS or just about anything you want) for many popular makes and models have been available from both Pro-Fit International and Panavise for years.

I have used vehicle-specific mounts from both companies in my cars.

It would not surprise me if one or both companies already has a design on sale for the 2020+ Supra.

I've checked with Proclip and Panavise - neither have Supra specific mounts yet. So far the iOttie mounted on the center console inner section is the best solution I've found.

I just ordered mine. I've been using an iOttie mount as posted above, but really prefer to have my phone more in the line of sight for using navigation without having to look down at all.

Looks good! I just got mine yesterday and installed it in roughly the same spot with an iBOLT universal mount.

I bought one of these generic small magnetic phone mounts and installed it as such

it works great for me, I have an iPhone XR and it fits perfectly for it's form factor so it doesn't come near my gear shifter or the idrive wheel
(so if you have a an iphone X or 11 and anything smaller it would be even better, but a plus or a max version will be cutting it close)

love the ease of just placing and removing my phone, maybe it's not the best idea to have your phone that low but I shouldn't look at it while driving anyways and I don't like placing my phone high on the dashboard where it obstruct my view or screen

having a short lightning cable near it for charging is a plus as well

Mine is mounted off to one side of the vent and really doesn't seem to impede airflow in anyway...
