Isn‘t the b58d built in the new m340i with 374hp for the german (wltp) market?
So it would be possible to put it in the Supra?!
You're looking at the wrong model. Only the Z4 matters.

It is likely the NA market Supra will transition to B58D starting with March 2020 production. Other countries might get it too, but only those countries that currently receive the B58D version of Z4 M40i (because same rules apply).

The current plans call for A90 to be in production until the end of 2025.
That's interesting. We get the US exhaust and tune settings in Au, no GPF, but our Z4 is still the B58C.

Only BMW engineers can fully answer this question. But it is a fact that there are no RDE-compliant Z4 B58D cars.
