Lol! I dont have one yet but I was just wondering if I can use 87 if I daily it?
No stick to 91. It's not worth the couple bucks. Just put in what's recommended, or better.

91 or better as recommended. anything less and it will at the very least pull some timing/boost etc.

older cars would ping if you didn't run proper octane, but newer cars seem to perform a little better in that regard.

93 or 100 here. I wouldn’t use anything less than 91.

Side note: the other morning the temp dropped for the first time since I got the Supra in mid Aug. It was like having a CAI, and with 100 O, I hit 0-60 in 3.75!

If it's like other BMWs it will have a sticker on the gas cap that says recommended and minimum octane. Other B58s I have owned/driven list 89 as the minimum. I alternate between 89, 91, and 93 in my M40i with a B58, and honestly can't tell the difference. I wouldn't use 87.

I can find 93 at any regular gas station here in Indiana. I need to research how to find where to purchase 100 octane.

I fill mine up with 93. The temp drops to 50s and 60s at night now. Best boost temps. Idk if it’s just me, but car seems to run soooo much better in this temp and feels faster

I feel that’s most turbo cars. My 1.8 Golf feels so slow in hot weather. Honestly seems it’s missing a good 30-50hp.
