No not yet but I will later today. Do I have to be in the diagnostic setting?
Yes you do. It won't clear them without being in diagnostic mode (Start Engine x 3 times fast). I'm sure you know that but just in case you didn't. I had similar codes until I cleared them.

Got CEL today and I sent an email to Terry to see if this is related to the map 3 mapping pushing higher idles. Will report back when he gets back to me.

Did Terry ever get back to you? I'm interested in hearing the conclusion.

He said it's probably the catless downpipe. I cleared the code but got another one again saying O2 sensor disconnected.

Another CEL showed up today.

okay. I just purchased a jb4 and a catless downpipe, but I ordered the mini-cat. Iā€™ll have it on by the end of the week and tell you what happens. Suprastore responded saying that the mini-cat should ensure that CEL shouldnā€™t come on. Iā€™ll respond the day of, 3 and 5 days after install.

Yep I do. I have the bigdaddies one.
Ah, I thought it was just a spacer without the cat. Either way Iā€™ll keep you posted. Hopefully I can recreate the issue and work through it with some of my friends at the shop

Hey guys, I got something new for you all, so after 50 miles from popping In my Titan downpipe, I got this code.
Man these cars are getting super smart on us, I bet this code will get latched so the dealer can spot it even though I was able to clear it with the JB4.

It's the first time I see this code anywhere online!

Your thoughts?

As Iā€™ve stated earlier, they already knew when people did this.
If anything this code would be to inform you.
A dealer work shop manual explaining the codes as well as when the DME/ECU ā€œphoning homeā€
would already guess what it was when you are in a dealership.
Not to mention even a cursory glance during a routine inspection would indicate this when your car is on the dealerships hoist.

Grab a good dealer that doesnā€™t mind mods like this is your best bet.
Iā€™ve personally had my Toyota dealership warranty items that are directly influenced by my own modifications - at their discretion they made the correct decision that my own ā€œadditionsā€ where not the cause for failure.

keep in mind this is dealer specific.

The BMW fault code for this is actually stating: -> Catalytic converter: Efficiency too low

I am sometimes having the same code when daily driving my car, haivng also a downpipe. But thats normal as we have a front-cat in our EU cars

Agreed! Find a dealer that appreciates mods without killing the warranty!

Yep and I posted all of my numbers many times if they want to search and it's on my instagram @LS3Twins with dyno numbers on multiple maps
Heya Ryan,

Did you experience any issues running map 3 on 93 octane? Any transmission codes or other problems? I have a catted downpipe and running on map 2 currently but would like to goto map 3 full time if safe.

I had a catless downpipe when I was running on Map 3 on 93 octane and didn't have any issues at all. I had it on the dyno and put down some great safe numbers with that setup. Reach out to Terry at Burger Tuning and he's pretty helpful with answering any questions. He would be able to give you a concrete answer to that question.
