Not sure why its doing this to me. When I hit the lock button on the fob the alarm goes off so I have to hit unlock to mute alarm. Any ideas?

Ok thays your problem.

These ECUs are programmed to set off the alarm as a warning when a connection is left ongoing to the ECU. Just disconnect (can leave the dongle plugged into the port) MHD by backing out.

And you're good.

True.
Forgot the first time to unplug my MHD module as well. I was like: WTF, why is the alarm going off. Then I realised it had to be the MHD.
And yes after unplugging, no more alarm :)

You only have to disconnect. Not unplug if you dont want to.

The alternative to that is you kill your battery in the middle of nowhere and can’t even make it into work on time as that was the your vehicle of choice that day.
Not that I have personally experience that.

Not for nothing; but why are you even using the fob? Just touch the door handle and you’re all set.
