More testing is good. I hope this one will have a stick option.

Apparently not going to be sold in the UK either, kind of glad really because if I saw a Supra on the roads it's good to know it's a 3.0 litre and not a 2.0 (considering they both look exactly the same on the exterior).

I feel like some of the comments and quotes in the article regarding a manual transmission are old or possibly taken out of context... but this is one was published January 14, 2020. I certainly hope that option is still on the table and not just for the 2.0L 197hp model (like equivalent Z4 for the EU).

I dunno... I guess it depends on just how many Supras Toyota thinks they will sell in the UK. I think it’s a loss that no 4cyl variants will show up (especially since one of them has a manual already made for it) but to compare to another niche car, I heard the UK RHD Ford Mustang was either only available in GT trim or else it was a very high GT trim take rate for the UK.

Or... maybe I’m mistaken and it’s actually Germany where there is only a Mustang GT available due to no demand for the lesser trims.

Toyota seems to be thinking along similar lines.
