Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps

How do you install them?

Are they the same as this:

Yes, you just pop the old ones off with a trim removal tool or something of the sort and snap the new ones on.

Also, just for your reference, I picked up the CF mirror caps to replace my LE red mirror caps - below is a short clip I took of what the back of the LE mirror caps look like from various angles (it's basically the same for the CF ones):

What is the BMW model(s) that has the same mirror?

i would install them this way instead of the first video imo.. just seems like a lesser chance of damaging the chips.

Caps came from UK, a seller called UKcarbon at eBay. I didn't want to import from US to due toll restrictions. Due to Brexit, I was in a hurry to get them toll-free.

These look like carbon fiber over plastic. I haven't taken mine off the car, but are the factory ones carbon fiber over plastic as well? It looks good either way.

factory ones are full carbon

My Seibon caps are full carbon.

M Performance can fit, part number 51162456017 and 51162456018.
