Optional Add-On: Ceramic Pro 9H Permanent Bond Nanoceramic Protective Coating – Two layers are pre-applied before shipment

Ceramic Pro 9H forms a permanent bond with the surface and will not wash off or break down. It is a highly durable protective coating that protects your vehicle's paintwork or any other surface from damaging contaminants. The unique formula of Ceramic Pro 9H allows it to be applied in multiple layers which means the thickness of the coating can be increased with additional layers, allowing a thicker/harder coating with improved scratch resistance.

As you guys know, I did this when I got my car, not from this vendor my local shop painted them for 25 dollars ( sanded too) but I am replying to let you guys know you have to partially remove your front bumper to get the old ones off. The tape/glue BMW uses is a nightmare and it was a PITA to get the old stuff off but it was worth the morning to do this. Becareful on all the plastic fasteners, they are factory tight and when you pop them they explode out.

Should be possible to maybe turn the wheels and use a jack to raise the car up and then heat gun on the inside to break down the adhesive from the tape/glue?

No, I tried thinking it was like other BMW's. You cannot access behind the fender liner. It has to be dropped.

I'm interested, but for the reasons others have stated above, does this come with instructions on how to install it?

Also... would you be able to do one in matte black?

o what a pita. Might just wait to install it when I wrap my car in stealth or find some Vinyl in downshift blue to cover it.

It is worth it but not as simple as I had hoped. When I turned my wheel and removed the liner to get access I was amazed something is actually blocking the access to the reflector. Also, I used my friends lift as I did not want to try and fit my hands in there but ended up having to remove the bumper.

Looks much better without the reflector in orange. Curious if it’s the intake box that’s blocking. I will see if I can look at the diagrams and figure out what it is.

Found the install video from IND they even removed the bumper on the video. Looks like that adhesive is a PITA as you mentioned.
