Point being the author fails to acknowledge that sports cars sales numbers decline when approaching colder months and the holidays. In Miami I did.
I totally agree with this.
In the UK we had to place a deposit a year before cars were delivered and 8 months before we could drive them. So I bought on the Supra name and confidence that it would be good. Had it been a 90-100k car I probably would have gone for something else ( a used cayman for 40k). We had two modern Toyotas at the time. I can only assume anyone who complained the interior was 'too BMW' hadn't been in a modern Toyota...the interiors suck!
Only 300 Supras came to the UK this year so it's a rare sight on the road. I like that.
Suprasaiyansg, How many Supras are there in SG? I have a business partner out there, we ship cars back and forth sometimes.
Works for me!!I had to take my 2017 Tacoma to the dealership for a blower motor safety recall. I didnāt feel comfortable with keeping the truck after that, so I left with a new Supra that day
Same car still on the floor and little to no interest based on the sales people.Have not seen any Supras on the road. A local dealer in the GTA has had one on the floor at MSRP for the past 3 weeks. Yes, it's Fall however people are simply not that interested. Local enthusiasts are looking for C8s. I'll keep my cash in the bank and wait until next year to buy a Supra at below MSRP. I have no interest in GM junk.
If this car flops, the guys with LE cars would have a very valuable flopIt'd be a huge shame if this thing is a sales disaster all because people can't get over this being a co developed car and not having "2JZ WITH 1,000HP!!". All the bs aside, it's received plenty of great praise and reviews performance wise. This is just another example of why the sports car is dieing out.
What would qualify as a sales disaster since the Supra is low volume? Dealer markups seems to be the main contributor of slow sales. It'd be a huge shame if this thing is a sales disaster all because people can't get over this being a co developed car and not having "2JZ WITH 1,000HP!!".
