Hey all, I've been looking into doing some upgrades to the sup and have come across a couple things. Since we have the integrated air-to-water intercooler to cool our charge temps and that may allow it to be very consistent but rarely low/below ambient in what I'm thinking logically.

My question is do you think that methanol would be worth it cooling/power wise on stock turbo, or heat exchanger - or neither until we get up to upgraded turbo applications?

I know Titan does a PnP kit, but I am trying to weigh the advantage vs cost. I know there isn't a lot of data but wondering if anyone has done either what type of gains or changes they've seen. Didn't see any thread like this and wanted to get the topic started as I'm actively looking into doing it. Will be running MHD, have catless downpipe already done. Larger/pure turbo in farther future but not immediately.

In high boost where the smaller turbo tends to fall out of efficiency water/meth will help control the intake temps. I advise against running anything but 50/50 meth/water due to preignition issues. But have only ran 1 water/method setup.

Yes I did. Figured might as well document it in a forum for people’s reference.

What was the answer or which facebook group was it posted in? Also looking at meth vs one of the exchangers about to come out.

Depends on the goals for the car. If you’re looking for something just to reduce charge temps, we’re having great success with Fluidyne heat exchangers.

We have plenty of cars running meth and HX but they’re using the meth primarily for octane / fueling.

My contact info is in my signature. Feel free to reach out anytime if you have any questions.
