Are you guys basing this off the mpg number the car says your getting or based off the mileage per every time you full up?

I’m basing my number off how many gallons I use in between fill ups and how many miles I go in between. I reset the trip number when I fill up and see how many miles I go before I get back down to 2 bars
I think most here are simply basing it off the ECU's estimated MPG that constantly changes as the throttle and AFR is constantly being reread by ECU. The only real way to get the correct MPG is to divide the exact miles driven presented by a trip that was cleared to zero with a full 13.7 gallons filled in the tank. No one is getting 40mpg or even 30mpg EVER even cruising along in 8th gear at 1,600 rpm at 50mph.

30 MPG on the MKV Supra tank that holds 13.7 gallons of fuel would equate to the car getting 411 miles on a full tank and we all know that's not happening LOL. 30 X 13.7 = 411

I think most of us drive with normal and sport mode on and off. I have nearly 5,000 miles on my MKV now and I'm averaging around
18.2 MPG with a mix of normal and sport driving. Even when I first bought my MKV Supra and drove it 800 miles from Utah to Arizona from the dealer and stayed in normal mode for the first 500 miles I was not able to get 30 MPG. Elevation could have been a factor but either way, for any modded car that makes 450-500whp to get over 15 MPG is still awesome!

40mpg is easily achievable (although misses the point of having a Supra a bit). My commute is 212 miles each way and driving slowly, without traffic I could be close to doing the round trip on a tank full. It’d be pretty boring though.

~12L/100km (or 19 ish mpg). Always drive sport mode w/ paddles & keep it spirited when the road allows.

You can also press and hold the left stalk where you flip between the odometer, mpg, etc. You can also reset the MPG as well. Just bring up what you want to reset and then press and hold.

Is there a break in time before using sport mode? In my last vehicle there was a 200mile break in before we could use Dynamic or Race mode.

I see where someone asked about the trip odometer. I can't get the on on the dash, where the RPM is, to change. Where the regular total miles of the car is. How do you zero that out.

To toggle options for trip/etc. there is a BC button on left of your steering wheel.

Thanks a lot, got it now. Have tried using the book for many things but I don't find that it is very well done.
