There are certainly trade offs - aside from weighing the benefits of faster shifting and launches vs absolute control. I’ve heard/read stories of dealers blaming owner behavior for engine problems that turned out to be manufacturing defects. Specifically, behavior that you can’t do if the car is a dual clutch or auto.Well I agree. If there is the option on any car currently on the market, I’m taking a manual no matter how good it is with an auto. 100% will choose manual.
