whoever installed your cf mirror caps obvs didn’t push the mirror on hard enough

If anything it's Magna, but such a simple oversight to complain about "Toyota quality"....

it's cute little boy but it's the first time ever that has happened to me so if you got an issue get over it. Here are some pretty pictures that i love about the supra.

Did your cf mirrors come installed from Port or did you install them yourself?

I think port installed, the option was on the window sticker.

So, it was an American Toyota error. lol Did you just push it back in or take it back to the dealership?

Unrelated but it appears there’s some protective plastic cling on the mirror cap in the later photo?

A simple error that makes a disheartening yet borderline comical effect.

I doubt that cap replacement required disassembly of the mirror pane.

In the first photo, is there a slight gap between the CF cap and the mirror housing? I wonder if there was the same gap for the standard black or LE red cap.

Objects in rear view mirror may be closer than they appear ... because the mirror fell out and got closer to them.

actually the correct way to instal the mirror cap is to take the glass out first. So you can access the cap tabs without breaking them. I thought this was weird but was reading install procedure the other day because I was thinking of buying the carbon fiber caps.( ibwork at a dealer in parts) Crazy this happened but can definitely see it happening

If my car wasn’t still in the shop for 13 weeks running I could look at mine and tell you if it’s normal for the CF caps.
