2021 Toyota GR Supra A91 Edition Revealed. Limited To 1,000 Units

Anyhow 1000 units, A91 edition.
2 colors, 1 new; refraction blue and nocturnal black.
All 2021 is getting 47hp increase to 382.

2.0L I4 releasing.

isn't the 2020 version already secretly 380 hp from the factory? are they just correcting their numbers or actually adding power to the car?

it was never about misrepresenting numbers; they were simply just reporting them as BMW does.

the car will now make close to ~380whp vs the current ~330whp

Isn’t the current Supra making that much hp already? I thought they said 335 to keep the BMW people happy.

I can see the power increase for the track but to be honest, for my use, I am fine, and it already has more power than needed. I hit the accelerator at around 3/4 and the front gets light. I already avoided a ticket, without realizing how has I was going, in a very, very short time. lol The cop gave me mercy. :^)

The way the car responds now, to me, is more than the 335 or 339 HP to the wheel.

The increased output results from a slew of upgrades throughout the engine. The new dual-branch exhaust manifold, with six ports instead of two, improves heat management. A new piston design reduces the engine’s compression ratio from 11:1 to 10.2:1.

The greatly revised engine produces higher torque at higher rpm and retains the eagerness to rev with turbine-like smoothness. Toyota projects that the new engine will reduce the Supra 3.0 model’s 0-60 acceleration time to 3.9 seconds, from 4.1. The 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters carries over for 2021.

Wondering if the EU version of the Supra will have the same differences.
We already know that the Z4 in Europe has the same engine as the Supra... so different than the US version.

Just to see if the 2021 model is actually a better engine or not (tuning wise)


Second thing I am wondering... which rear ducktail would be the best: TRD or the A91 edition. Looks like the A91 is bigger and has more 'angle of attack'.


What sucks is that it appears that they re-tuned the chassis for the 2021 model. That is point where I say... Toyota give this to me for free (only when it is better handling than the 2020 model)

did they have to put the graphic on the pillar?

Hurts to be an early adopter because this is a pretty significant update.

That blue is a nice color. It will be interesting to see the price with the carbon fiber additions.

This makes me want to sell my Launch edition and buy a GTR. F Toyota right now
