I'm working on that too but it's also a heavy project and requires:

1. A completely new intake manifold and deleting the water to air system which also cools the A/C (No condenser on the front) and going to air to air and having to route all of that piping and build a front mount. To keep A/C you'd have to build a condenser and mount it on the radiator in place of the old heat exchanger.
Or
2. A completely new intake manifold and designing a bigger water to air intercooler that fits inside of the new intake manifold.

I want my setup to not rely on meth or any type of injection in the charge piping.
So adding a plate between the head and manifold is not possible?

Well the main problem is at the power levels that require the port injection the stock intercooler in the intake manifold becomes a restriction so that's why it needs a new intake manifold either way. I should have some updates on this before the end of the year hopefully. :)

Ah I see what you’re saying. This seems like a particularly annoying issue.

My main question is what are ya'll doing about fueling? Or are you just using a ton of meth?
Which of the three is the weak point:
HPFP
LPFP
Injectors

I'm working on upgrades for all three but this is not something that will happen fast. If you already have a solution I will buy it just let me know.

Also what octane and ethanol content are you using?

Thanks

At the moment it is so that the rail pressure breaks in at 23-24psi. (pump gas)

Also meth injection before intercooler helps just a little bit. We suspect it has to do with the intercooler. Maybe it formed condensation water drops on intercooler core.... Or air flow is too small.
(I would also be interested in how it did Adam LZ. In my opinion, this is not possible to achieve this WHP with the setup. I also think the Dynochart is different to everything you've seen about Dyno Supra A90 charts)

Only with direct meth port it works without rail pressure problems.

At the moment we are changing the LPFP. Let's see what it brings...

If you have solutions for the HPFP we can help with testing.

For those asking about extra fueling. We are hoping to release our kit before the end of the year. Just finishing up some design tweaks. Direct port meth, but will eventually carry over to port.

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/direct-port-meth-injection-kit-r-d.1955/

EDIT: we are also doing a FMIC A2A setup with factory A2W delete setup.
Looks very good. :)

On Wednesday / Thursday we will do the final tests on the Dyno and see what is possible with stock Fuel system and Direct Meth.

Thank you so much for being very detailed in your responses. I am in the same place you are with my 9280. We are at the 22psi mark without any fueling issues and will be turning it to 23-24psi tomorrow morning. I have a stage 3 Snow Meth kit to supplement when fueling is an issue but it looks like you have found out where.

Yes I predicted that the intercooler would be the first restriction for anyone running more than 600hp on this setup. I will have some solutions soon for this with a full CNC intake manifold. I will keep you posted though. I will also have HPFP solutions coming but it's just not an expedited process but again when I do I'll let you know. Please keep me posted on the LPFP and if that remedies the problem with the HPFP.

Your direct port setup looks nice and excited to see how that performs and what kind of power it's making. You can PM me specific info if you don't feel like sharing to public.

I think we are using the same tuner....Fabian at Pureboost?

Greddy is releasing a CNC intake manifold; it's debuting at SEMA this week (created a thread about it).

Yes of course I will share if we have new knowledge. Fabi is the man. We are with him tomorrow on the dyno ;)

Im just curious.. how hard was it for you to dismount the motor and cherry pick it out? I am anticipating that it was not too hard...
