As the title says I accidentally pulled the emergency trunk release and now my trunk will not close. Does anyone know exactly how to reset it? Looked in my manual, but found nothing about this :( any help is greatly appreciated.

I would ask the dealer? I have looked at it but haven't pulled it so I don't know. I hope someone has the answer.

I called the dealer but as usual, they don't call back. Got my money and their response to questions totally sucks.

The dealer donā€™t know crap about the A90. They didnā€™t even know I had Apple car play.
I called the dealer again and they said they would call back in a few minutes. Will see, but everyone should know how to do this, reset the hatch. I also looked in the manual and either missed it or it isn't there.

Canā€™t you just pull out the emergency release all the way until it reels back in? I would think it is just a coil of cable on tensioner that needs to be ā€œunlockedā€ by pulling the cable until fully extended for it to reel in.

My buddy pulled mine and it automatically reset, I didnā€™t need to do anything.

Maybe you just need to make sure it is pulled out correctly. lol

The dealer here, after 3 calls, still never called me back. They suck. Got my money and that has been the way it has been.
