Accidentally pulled emergency trunk release

As the title says I accidentally pulled the emergency trunk release and now my trunk will not close. Does anyone know exactly how to reset it? Looked in my manual, but found nothing about this any help is greatly appreciated.

I would ask the dealer? I have looked at it but haven't pulled it so I don't know. I hope someone has the answer.

oh that yellow thing by the trunk? oh damn..maybe the latch?

i need to be careful with mine. probably tape that shit so i wont pull it by mistake

I called the dealer but as usual, they don't call back. Got my money and their response to questions totally sucks.

The dealer don’t know crap about the A90. They didn’t even know I had Apple car play.

I called the dealer again and they said they would call back in a few minutes. Will see, but everyone should know how to do this, reset the hatch. I also looked in the manual and either missed it or it isn't there.

Can’t you just pull out the emergency release all the way until it reels back in? I would think it is just a coil of cable on tensioner that needs to be “unlocked” by pulling the cable until fully extended for it to reel in.

i was joking. Lol . I am trolling like Ayusar.

My buddy pulled mine and it automatically reset, I didn’t need to do anything.

Maybe you just need to make sure it is pulled out correctly. lol

The dealer here, after 3 calls, still never called me back. They suck. Got my money and that has been the way it has been.
