Oh didn’t add in the OP, if anyone have feedback of what you like &/or don’t like about current Supra, please lmk
Dont like that he seems to be saying they dont care about the MY20 owners and wont offer any support on them either with updates or anything like that. I get that they will be putting better numbers year after year and im not salty about that but would be nice to get some kind of update or something to be kept relevant in the community and with newer versions they put out. Like others have said it needs better performance gauges especially through the infotainment screen. Definitely needs something for the hatch to open either with touch or a button on the hatch or motion sense where you dont need to take the key out every time. AC controls need to be synced for both sides. The horn needs to be replaced to something that isnt shit. Wind buffeting needs to be fixed. Would be nice for the tach to be displayed on the HUD. More carbon fiber in the interior would be nice too. Just little things it seems like so far everything else has been good on it. Time will tell with the rest.

I don't think so. The GT-R was a 100k car being sold for 60k. The Supra is a 55k car being sold for 55k, and it's not exactly flying out the showroom. They raise the price, they'll just lose more customers. They upped the horsepower to stay relevant where they're at.
I understand you WANT them to raise the price to make you feel better about buying a 2020 model, but that's just not how it works.
I would not want Toyota to raise the price at all for anyone, I could really care less. I am not one to feel better by putting others down. Anyway, I am slowly beginning to lose trust in Tada San. His tone keeps changing and is coming off disingenuous. Maybe I am getting lost in translation. I still remember during an interview when the reporter asked him what driving mode (sport or normal) he liked most and he responded by saying “normal”. LOL man I only drive this car in sport mode, like Cmon! normal really?!... Only time will tell what the new prices will be, but I am sure it is going to be a great car and elevate the current legacy. Regardless of price, I enjoy this wonderful car everyday.

The one I drove had plenty. I turned left onto the on ramp, gave it the beans, rear end broke loose and by the time I merged on the interstate I was well over a 100 mph. And all i could think was "and mine will have 50 more horsepower??" I'm curious what the '21 will dyno at.
I bet around 380-390whp

Going by the Z4 and 2020 dyno numbers on similar dynos, the torque numbers between the 2020 and 2021 will be damn near identical. Your going to see the real difference in response at “go to jail” speeds. If you are fine with a 2020, the 2021 should not be anymore squirrelly than that.

I hope you get to enjoy the hell out of it.

I'm sure I will :D I'm glad it goes like it does. Then there's no reason for me to do mods other than for sound and cosmetic reasons. It needs lowered, because that wheel gap is horrendous, but other than that, other than wheels for a base/premium car, it really doesn't need anything. I can definitely live with the all black SE wheels for a while. Probably going to get a set of H&R springs (if they use the same springs in '21) and then probably a black tipped catback and work on slowly getting some TRD Carbon pieces.

Yet the Z4 has a higher compression ratio
The dyno numbers I’ve seen for the m340i are lacking for most as it appears they have been detuned by BMW after the first handful were released. Hp is generally around 345 to the wheels. That said, with a tune you get the 40hp they stole plus another 40hp of original headroom going by Mission Performance numbers.

It's detuned in Europe for EPA reasons with those particulate filters. European Supras won't get the upgraded engine at all, so it'll be curious to see if the American '21 Supra will be detuned. I have a good dyno place nearby so once I'm past break in, I might just throw it on there for a few pulls.

Why? I am pretty sure he doesnt choose which models and trims get pushed to market. Why can't he have a preference? He designed the car.
