Not to go too far off topic but, yes the Supra definitely beats the evo in comfort, daily-driveability, features, convenience. As far as performance and handling I can't really say much because I never really tracked any of them aside from the dragstrip. For the evo to beat the supra in the quarter mile I'd think it would need to have at least 400+whp. I actually owned both at the same time for a while and should have made some videos of them head to head. Mine had around 415whp before I sold it and I really don't know if it would have beat the MK5.

My order to cut the weight, considering the cost & performance:
  1. LFPO battery (easily cut over 36.5 lbs)
  2. Bucket seat (the original seat is about 50 lbs each)
  3. Exhaust
  4. Brake (e.g. AP Racing CP9668/372mm brake kit can save over 44 lbs)
  5. Wheels
  6. Carbon fiber body parts
Of course you can cut and throw all the interior away like spending...0 dollar, but not my option.
