Probably a stupid question but I can’t seem to get a clear answer anywhere including my dealership. Does anybody know the schedule for the 2 year maintenance warranty for the Supra? If my memory serves me right my FRS was every 7,500 miles and RAV4 was every 5,000 miles. Online I’ve found conflicting info on the Supra’s routine schedule. Does anybody have any info on this?

While the Toyota Owners landing page suggests 5K / 6 mo, when you click on "View Maint. Sched" it shows 10K is recommended, whether you put 0 miles or 4000 or 8000 miles, still shows 10K for recommended..
Manual says:

huh, none of the Manual's found in the latest Toyota Owners page, have the maintenance plan in the manual. The image above is from the earlier ones, that members had linked on the forums and I believe I downloaded from Toyota before. They moved that to a different file under Warranties and Maint Guide, which also suggests every 10K miles..

Dealer confirmed that 5k/6months would be covered and be no charge. Don’t know if it’s gonna apply to all of them down the line but now I can’t find a dealer that has parts in stock (or they don’t want to confirm but I don’t see why they wouldn’t) ...

I’ve seen that but the interval at which they cover hasn’t been confirmed or I haven’t seen it :dunno: (I’ve seen first two, every 10k, or the email above).

Yeah that’s what confuses me, owners website says 5k/6 months and once you click into it it changes to 10k, so which is it? Dealership couldn’t give me a clear answer either. Seems most dealerships don’t know. I usually get literature in the mail but I never got anything regarding the 2 year maintenance warranty regarding the Supra

Here in Tucson, they said it is very 5 thousand with 10 and 20 for the oil change and lube. The 5 thousand marks are for a general look at the car and to check levels etc.

I guess to bring more clarity to my comment before. Toyota dealership just contacted to schedule 5 months/5k service..

They will only cover the oil change when I reach 10k miles or 10 months after I’ve purchased my car. They did say I was eligible to rotate my tires at 5 months mark....

So looks like there isn’t a 5k/5months service that will be covered.

Can they rotate the tires? Aren't they directional?

They can’t. I pointed it out the fact that tires are of different sizes. They had to check, then co firmed that I was correct... and that they cannot be rotated.

They know nothing about these cars.

Its frustrating isn't it! I had someone reach out to me to schedule my 6 month. They said rotate tires and so on - I understand that person who called isn't a mechanic - but it still annoys the bejesus out of me. I'm a IT guy - How am I supposed to know? And I don't want to waste time in my day dropping a car off for them to look at it and say - Yup _ car looks good!

And last time I took the car in for a vaccumm leak they were like - "Hummm... yup --- there is an error code for that.... Hummmm... Maybe it will go away. We cleared it - if it happens again bring it back right away."

So it happened again - Now I have to take it in again.

Oh well - 1st world problems I guess.
