Power Limit Break in Miles?

Anyone know if the supra's have an ecu break in mode that limits power until a certain amount of miles? I just picked up one for my wife and just wanted to know before I start modding it. My plan is to go MHD is a drop in filter and dp and call it a day. Thoughts?

I could have swore where someone was telling the ecu would only give like 80% power fully broken in. Oh well good to know, tks..

Are you thinking of the C8? I know it's been stated that this is definitely the case for that car. If you youtube Jay Leno reviewing the C8 with GM's chief engineer he confirms that.

I 2nd this. the C8 does a lag mode up until 500 miles and wont let you go pass 5k rpm. After 500 miles it opens up all the way. Now on the Supra no mode like that came on mines.

I am glad it didnt come with some stupid shit like that... send it and seat those rings as soon as possible under boost/engine decel

To be honest I feel this is more to protect the driver from totaling a new car than to protect the engine.
