Thanks for the feedback! You mean oversteer exiting a turn?
Yes, I had to think about it, because I just do it, but yes, coming out of the turn.

I bought the kit that is around 300, that does the same thing and like the cross strut/support but for 65 dollars, you can't go wrong. I would do a nice paint job on it. Have fun! I do notice a little oversteer, hard into corners but that is what I am used to and like.
Its definitely getting some make up put on lol Im thinking matte or Satin black. Can you notice anything difference with lateral acceleration? I feel like this car shimmies a little and hoping this brace with reduce it

It is possible, has a nice feel to it, for me. But the 65 dollar fix seems pretty easy on the wallet and worth the try.

To everyone who bought or is intending to buy the ā€œkitā€

I just got all the parts and realized that the holes located at the strut tower arenā€™t tapped and therefore require different hardware.
According to the instructions for the Cusco brace, M8x50 + flat washer + serrated flange nut should work.

I'm just going to buy the Cusco set and have it powder coated black. Can't see having a single blue accent in an otherwise black and yellow car. Although since there's zero heat concerns (well to the point that you'd need temp resistant paint at least) maybe I'll just paint them myself for the cheap. Gonna have to use etching primer I suppose with anodized aluminum, right? Hmm..:hmm:

New plan... wait a bit and have the wheels and bars PC'd at the same time...

Painted and installed the BMW ones.
Not as pretty (and functional) as the Cusco, but Iā€™m happy.

^^^ Feel a difference?

Went for a quick drive. Knowing something has changed of course makes me think there is a difference, but common sense tells me I shouldnā€™t notice anything just driving around town. Maybe will take it off and do some with and w/o testing this weekend.

Anyway, I didnā€™t really install it to improve handling.... I just didnā€™t like the top of the air box indicating that something should be there, but isnā€™t.
So in that sense, yes, I notice a difference since it makes me feel much better when opening the hood.

yeah same here. Used the same hardware the Cusco set uses for the strut holes. M8x50, washer, flange nut
