M8 bolts drop right in. Tapping the holes and using the oem m10 bolts is probably the way it should be done, but using the m8s w/o tapping is good enough for me.

Really? Do you have the part number for this? The factory uses self-tapping bolts.
It’s a thru hole. You’re supposed to drop the bolt with washers in the hole, and install serrated nut through the wheel well. Cusco has forgotten to include this nut in early shipments, but they’re quick to ship you the hardware free of charge.Did you have to tap the holes?

I am considering tapping the hole so I don't need to jack the car up to reach the but from the wheel well every time.
That doesn't look like a self tapping bolt.BMW part #

I installed the Cusco bar, you do not have to jack the car up to reach the underside of the hole. I guess it might be difficult if you lowered the car, have very large arms or stubby fingers.I am considering tapping the hole so I don't need to jack the car up to reach the but from the wheel well every time.

What tool did you use to tap it? Im considering doing this rather then use the m8×50 1.25 bolt. And what method? That doesn't look like a self tapping bolt.
Regardless, I just tapped the hole for m10x1.5.Forgot that the towers are aluminum so they were super easy to tap.
You’ll need a tap & die set, some lube, and steady hands. Do some YouTube research on tapping hole techniquesSo with this hardware how do i self tap that hole? Forgive me for im not use to doing things like this.
