For those of you who have lowered your Supras (or other cars), what floor jacks are you using to lift the car for general maintenance?

I'll be lowering my car soon and realized my floor jack barely clears the stock height as is. I'm curious what others do.

That's the exact one I have haha. Works great but it wont clear if you are planning to lower your car. I hope there is a model out there that won't involve the use of wood to start haha
Broooo!! thanks for letting me know

I'm lowered on HKS adjustable springs. Lowered the vehicle 1.25 inches. I have this jack which claims a 3.5" low profile. This allows me about 1/4 inch under the jack point with the "adapter" (puck like thing that goes in the jack point). So I assume any 3.5" or lower jack will work. If you lower any more than 1.25 inches you may have to roll up onto some blocks of wood to get the jack under.

EDIT: Just looked at the harbor freight jack that was posted. It states a lower profile of 3.5" as well. So I'm not sure the above jack will provide much additional if any. I just know that I am lowered on HKS Springs and the jack posted works.... barely. No room to spare.

@Axix23 Are the jack pads a must? Also do you need to use them on the jack stands as well?

The pads are only $12 for a pair from Amazon. They arenā€™t a must but I use it so it doesnā€™t mess up the side jacking points.

Possible to share a link so I don't end up ordering some bogus ones? I'm paranoid of some things on Amazon these days.

i still drive over wood on mine just to give it more of a clearanace but i have jacked up mine without the wood for stuff that is super quick like the cusco brace bar. I would however second buying jack pads for your car or if you have had a bmw before it should be same hockey pucks. Not sure which one Axix bought but i got these https://www.amazon.com/SuboTech-Uni...d=1592332328&sprefix=bmw+jack+,aps,182&sr=8-8 and they worked fine. Get the rubber and not metal ones as they have some give to it and wont mess up the jack points.
