Has anyone removed the front factory lip? I received my Seibon replacement today but there must be a trick in getting the front lip off. There were 9 clips/screws on the bottom of the lip which I removed but something else must be holding the pieces on.

yep removed it. side pieces should come of easily. The mid piece is held by the tabs, hope this helps.

FYI, it's really easy to take off the bumper. I'd rather remove it than f up the tabs...
Putting the bumper back on takes a few practice, but still not difficult..

FYI, sorry these pictures show when it was removed. Seems I didn't take a picture during..

Do you have to remove the front bumper? I can't even get the side pieces to come off. Did the ends that go vertical clip in somehow?

Managed to get hte two side pieces off without removing the bumper. The middle seems significantly harder. I'm wondering if I could use a trim removal tool for the 4 tabs in the middle?

@XtremeMaC I'm trying to get a better understanding of the clips in the middle. The bottom pic above is the view from behind the bumper, right? The clips there at the bottom are what's holding the lip in? or are the clips actually on the front lip piece? Do you have a pic of the front lip piece off the car? I can't quite figure out what the top pic is?

Looks like if I can get something in there and press down on each tab I might be able to get it out without removing the bumper.

Got the lip installed. I'm not 100% happy with the fitment, I'm assuming it's on there as good as it gets for an aftermarket lip. Anyone else have a seibon front lip and can comment on their fit?

I'll take a video tomorrow outside and post it on the other thread I made for the lip. It's not terrible, but annoying.

Any tips/guides on removing the bumper? How many screws are there to remove? What makes putting the bumper back on difficult?
