Hello! We have been lurking for the last couple of weeks, silently working out of the limelight but I wanted to take the time to finally introduce ourselves!

We are Modern Automotive Performance! Dedicated to the relentless pursuit of performance and the general enjoyment of our vehicles, we have been producing and distributing aftermarket parts for modern turbocharged vehicles since 2006. We have a diverse history in working on, and developing parts for the Mitsubishi Evolution, Mitsubishi/Chrylser Corp DSM group platform, Subraru WRX and STI platforms, MK7 Volkswagen GTI and Golf R, and most recently the 10th Gen Civic Si where we are currently fielding the fastest quartermile 1.5T powered car! Why are we here? While it's quite simple, we have had a love affair with the MKIV Supra since it’s introduction, probably like a lot of you and the moment Toyota announced that it would be producing the MKV A90 Supra, we knew we had to get one. In fact, much like yourselves, we have been trying to find our ticket to a nostalgic moment in history ever since first setting eyes on the FT1. Now it’s finally here and it’s time to clear away the vapor and smoke of assumptions, and debates about what this car will be like and really dive into the nuts and bolts of how fun this car is and can be!

After some seat time with the stock MKV, we have been very impressed with the car. No noticeable deficiencies right away, handling was obviously a very important part in development and it shows. The car is phenomenal right out of the box. One of the first things we did after getting the car home we began development on our catback exhaust, although the factory system is very well designed and in most cases will not be a performance hinderance for us the sound left a bit to be desired. Not that it was bad by any means, it just did not evoke the same feeling as the turbo inline 6s of the past. We will continue the development in hunt of that feeling, and are excited to show you what we come up with along the journey!

Overall the MVK Supra has surpassed all the expectations we have had, and has delivered us a very potent and capable car that we are excited to dig into and learn! Share with us your plans for your MKV, and let us know how we can help!

Some of our Video's so far, looking forward to doing more of these!

A look into what we have been doing on our Civic Si shop car, as there is always something interesting going on around here:

We have been a little quiet on the forums these past few months, but that has not been due to a lack of work! We have logged a few hundred hours on the dyno, with many more on the street developing both our OTS tune program and a few hard parts for the platform.

With the car in stock form we have developed our Stage 1 OTS tune, with a lot of attention on the details. Our shop car making 417hp and 453ftlb of torque on 93 octane (Dynojet 424X) has proven to be a very fun platform with minimal modifications! With a lot of focus on smooth power delivery , and vast improvements with the gear based throttle closures we have seen many have issues with. This is the perfect tune for those of you looking to make a quick update to the car without installing any new parts, and retaining many of the creature comforts that the Supra has. We are finally to a point that we are happy enough with it to begin BETA testing, if you are interested please feel free to comment below or shoot us a PM. OTS Tunes are currently based on the Bootmod3 Tuning platform.

As we worked on the Stage 1 OTS Calibration, we were also working on our high flow catted downpipe. Utilizing our in house made Billet CNC turbo flange, mated to 4.5” 304 Stanless steel and then tig welded to a GESI High Flow catalytic convertor capable of 800whp, that then tapers to a 304 Stainless flex section, and then down to the factory sized catback connection making this a 100% bolt on affair. This downpipe will not only support the power most A90 Supra owners will throw at it, it's also backed by our lifetime warranty! We are very happy with how this dowpipe has turned out, and looking forward to the development and release of our Stage 2 OTS calibration that will go with it!

One of the first projects we began with our A90 after we bought it was a catback exhaust, we have been through many different iterations by now and we are finally ready to release what we feel is the best version. With a combination of style and performance we feel we have come up with a home run and one of the best catbacks we have ever delivered. From The sleek 3.5” Stainless material, high ground clearance of the oval tubing, to the user tunable sound via the factory sport mode button. We built the “Sport” version of the exhaust 3.5” all the way back, including the Electronic valve to prevent any restrictions in the system. With the valve open you have a sporty sounding A90 with a deep tone and a sound that will let people know what's coming. With the valve closed we route to a multi chamber muffler that produces a very OEM+ sound that is quite and unassuming, but when driving the car hard you have a slightly more aggressive tone than stock!

We also added some of the HKS Adjustable lowering springs to adjust the ride height, and get a much more aggressive look out of the car. These are the perfect upgrade over stock, keeping all the factory electronic damping in place while still offering the option to adjust the ride height as needed. These have made a huge difference in how the car both looks and feels, could not recommend them more to anyone not looking to make the full switch to an aftermarket coilover just yet.

As the weather is finally starting to warm up here in the midwest we are excited to get this car out more this summer!
