I will undoubtedly wind up watching it when it comes out on BR or is on cable... but I'm definitely not going to spend theater money on it - COVID19 or no. Adding Cena was bad enough, but I had no idea they resurrected Han as well? Don't get me wrong, I thought Han was the only reason to even consider watching Tokyo Drift but WTF? Lemme guess... in the end we find out that no one has ever died ever... they just left to teach at a driving school opened in Narnia?

I swear these writers must be in 6th grade: "...but then they realized it was all just a dream." :nono:

I mean, at least the supra in the trailer caused the armoured truck to fly into air after the crash, up until that moment everything was destroyed on the truck's path... So we can say Supra is tough and badass?

Oh yes finally!
The GR Supra is certainly going to make F9 an enjoyable film!
Sad that's delayed for next year because of Coronavirus

Some of guys might not be a big fan of this color but I think the orange suits it well as it makes a tribute to Brian's Supra (RIP Paul)

i don't mind the orange. its that stupid livery on the door. they are better off putting a cf door piece instead.

You guys think the MKV Supra will appreciate similar to the MKIV couple years from now especially the Launch Edition?

Nope. Unless something crazy happens the BMW stigma is there. And there is nothing special about the launch edition. Number plate un related to vin. You can fake the plate and put it on a car in the same production span and no one would know. The a91 is better. If they are releasing a special edition every year that's better than the last. Maybe the first couple might mean something like #2.

I'll say it again... unless the COVID-19 economy kills it off entirely. :( Even then, it's still a toss-up - it could be the shortest run car with high desirability - or the one few even want to bother with. No matter what happens... the only way it will ever see MKIV appreciation - is by waiting another 30 years. I love my bimmeryota, but I'm not expecting it to survive nearly that long... it's got more plastic in the engine bay than the MKIV had in the entire car!
