I tried to flash probably 10 times. I sat in the the car in a catatonic state so I know there was no voltage fluctuation. The dealer was totally clueless about this car. It sat on their lot for four months and I think it is extremely unlikely they would have updated anything.I'm going to go out now and try again.

Has any progress been made to gain access to ECU for flash through OBDII for those that have their ECU's updated and locked?

Also, how do you determine if the ECU is accessible prior to purchase?

Read codes and post the screenshot. It has all the info needed to know if its flashable or not.

On the shakedown run I raced a Tesla from a light. I walked away from about 50. I'm ready for e85.

Sorry forgot the other part of your question. No success yet on the OBD flash. But its being worked on.

Instead of immediately trying to flash again I reflashed the stock file. As a result it went out of diagnostic mode. I didn't realize that I could/needed to re-enter diagnostic mode while all the errors and warnings were flashing.

When I put MHD in monitor mode the only gauge that appears is a boost gauge regardless of which options I select or how many gauges I configure. How do you get it to display the gauges you want?

To anyone awaiting iOS support, I got response from MHD today and they are projecting late summer. Personally, I don’t think I will wait that long. Probably going to bite the bullet and go with Ecutek.

I did my initial tuning with a Lenovo tablet but want to use an Amazon Fire in the future rather than lug a big tablet. Google playstore is installed. After installing MHD software I am able to communicate with the DME via the wifi adapter but it says no licenses found and I can't perform any functions. How do I get the Fire to recognize the purchases made with the Lenovo?

you have to ensure the main login on the fire tablet/play store is the same login that was used on the other tablet. licenses are Vin locked and google account linked. Which will change with the new MHD app.

OK. That makes sense. I think I'll just wipe the Fire clean and start fresh.
