Anyone have suggested boost start/ full spray for progressive methanol set up? I set mine up for 6/15 psi. I may have been a little throttle happy with the new set up and tune but used 1/2 gallon of boost juice today.

Looking into ordering in bulk but curious what other have set as window.

I can't answer your question, but I"m curious how many nozzles and what sizes you are running?

2 nozzles. Little one in charge pipe (175ml) and bigger one in TB spacer (375ml). I guess if I do the math on that its 550ml. Soooo like .15 gallons per hour.

It’s pretty rich. sending some data logs to get tune dialed in this week. charge air temp is pretty stable with increasing boost. Timing correction is minimal with no knock detected. So i think there is a lot left. Also have pure800 turbo and catless dp.

Are you using/did you install the kit from Titan Motorsports? If so, did it have all the components needed to run dual nozzles or did you have to purchase anything in addition? Does the line running from the pump (after the solenoid and filter) just use an adapter to split into two separate lines for two separate nozzles? I have my meth injection kit coming from Titan and should be here soon.

Yes I used the titan kit. It does not come with components to run dual nozzle. It is a t after the check valve. I ordered it from NX Express/Snow performance.

Your meth flow strongly depends on what your tune is setup for. If you are tuned for 93 fuel and you add meth on these cars very little actually happens. As the intake air temp is actually semi-modeled. I would talk to whoever is doing your tune and adjust your meth accordingly.

I think I disagree. My flow is not controlled by tune at all. Ithe solenoid is something controlled by boost pressure. Zero up till 6psi then progresses to full spray at 15 psi.

I understand that the effectiveness and power gains are obviously dependent on the tune. But as far as meth consumption it’s all about how long it stays on. At least in my case with the VC30 controller.

Edit. Tune does control boost level. So I guess you could say it controls meth flow that way. Just wanted to point out that it’s not a full blown map for the meth

You asked for a recommendation. I suggested talking to your tuner as the meth will do very little on a factory tune or most shelf maps if you are using one for your fuel grade. You should be asking how much meth your tune requires and balance that with your tune. Or if you have a custom tune you can then work with your tuner and find a balance. If you are using a map for your current fuel grade I would use a #3 nozzle and set it to start injection at 10psi and max out at 50psi. That way it is just a slight mist that doesnt consume much fuel.
