Problem: Posting Photos

I am having a problem including photos in my posts. Basically:

• I click the picture icon at the top if the message box.
• I paste the photo link into the "Image URL" line and click "Insert."
• When I submit the post I just get a broken-icon image where the picture should be.

I've used links from Google Photos and Shutterfly, both with the same result.

What photo storage sites are those of you are are successfully posting photos using?

Any help? Thank you in advance.

I'd assume with Google Photos, Forum does not have access rights to the picture, therefore unable to get image. Could be same with Shutterfly.

Can you post the image url here as a link instead of an image so we can see if it is an access issue?

An alternative solution is by clicking "Upload a File" instead of linking to the image directly.

Those are not direct links to the image so that will give you issues.

For the Shutterfly link, I right clicked the image selected "Copy Image Address" (assuming youre using Google Chrome) to get the direct link. To test that you have a direct link to the image, open a new browser window and Paste into the url and press enter, you will see just an image.

I pasted 'https://uniim1.shutterfly.com/ng/se.../media/125083780026/medium/1586290583/enhance' this into my browser and got just an image which exactly what you want.

Paste it into the Image URL box here and it shows up like this:
