Well I wrote somewhere that, Toyota probably went back to the drawing board to tweak things after seeing all the renderings on the internet.received word from one of the engineers that the test mule is not wearing a production bumper and that it has since been revised.. no details though
I was under the impression the one being used was being tested as production (it was also similar in the official renders), but I didnt ask anything further.
I had a feeling that the front bumper on prototype was false and just there for testing, but could you also tell them to add some air intakes for the rear wheels.received word from one of the engineers that the test mule is not wearing a production bumper and that it has since been revised.. no details though

The magazine article where that appeared, Holiday Auto was it? suggested that the car wouldn't be appearing at the Tokyo Auto Show, but at some venue soon after. I didn't want to believe it at the time, was in denial, so I didn't mention anything, but looks like they did know something. All indication was that it was going to appear in Tokyo, until that article said otherwise, so it must've been a recent decision to pull out, which is to tweak some thing in my estimation.Tired to make it as much of a "normal" car as possible and cleaned up the front a bit. The main focus was on the front; I think its one of the best rendering out there.

well, since it probably doesnt matter at this point, the render I was shown did not have side intakes, but who knows maybe it will be a thing.I had a feeling that the front bumper on prototype was false and just there for testing, but could you also tell them to add some air intakes for the rear wheels.
http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a13089167/wheres-the-supra/^ i wouldn't expect it to outperform the Z4. but perhaps they're taking their time to give it that JZA80'ish feel ?
