Lots of dealers do the no test drive thing. Honda with Type R VW with Golf R. How many of you guys bought the Supra without a test drive?

I bought without testdrive and I have zero regrets. Obviously wouldn’t be the case all the time but definitely lucked out on mine

Toyota has upped the hidden dealer cash incentive to $2k.

Do I hear 5 k off and zero percent finance yet? The incentives will only get better the longer these unsold cars sit.
That's what I am holding out on. Let these units sit. I seriously doubt Toyota will even sell 200 units a month right now. With those sales numbers, Toyota is currently sitting on around 7 months of inventory.

Give it a couple more months. It will be a great time to buy for future owners. I do feel bad for current owners though because if the car gets big rebates, incentives, and discounts, the value of the car will drop.

Exactly why I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Just biding my time.

Yeah, agree with you 100 percent the car will definitely drop in value. But if you just want one to drive and have fun with and no worries about future value I firmly believe in the next couple months you will never get a better deal. But a new car is never a great idea financially especially a sports car. But sometimes the "want" is greater then the "need". My wife thinks I am nuts just thinking about getting a Supra because of the very limited amount of time I would actually drive it, but I know while I was driving it I would be having a great time doing it! I guess like everything in life you have your own set of priorities. I might spend my money on things people think are crazy ( Supra) but I might think your big RV is a waste. To each his own. Only live once, so get what you want!

To people who are waiting for better offers, what price would you be willing to make the deal at. MSRP for premium is 55k. Right now there are many dealers selling at 51~52k. How low is low enough to make the purchase? I am thinking 49k! Thoughts?

Anything less than $50k for a new premium would be a good deal. Just give it a couple of months. Or you can buy a slightly used with less than 1,000 mi for $45k. Cant believe how fast these cars depreciated.

Where are you seeing a "slightly used with less than 1,000 mi for $45k"?

LOL. I'd be willing to bet if you contacted them... it would be "sold... but we can get you another for more..."

I've never had a great experience with dealers on Cargurus. Great site to get pricing to BRING to a dealer to negotiate... but, horrible otherwise.

Oh, and check their reviews. Yeah... not buying that is a legit listing.

They don't come up very often, but I was able to snag one for 45k with 1100 miles on it. I did have to fly to PA to pick it up, but it was more than worth it since it came with full stainless Magnaflow exhaust, catless down pipe, high flow AF, transferable BM3 license with stage 2 tune and a custom car cover. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming, because this deal made up for all the bad deals I've done in the past.

How is it driving? I am surprised they got rid of it so soon and for that price after that extra investment.
