Just wanted to share this...

I recently replaced my rear console cubby with NVSpecialities direct replacement carbon fiber piece...

Very easy install and fitment was excellent...Also the cubby CF matches the CF on the front console perfectly...

Installation instructions:

Step 1- Remove inner rubber piece of cup holder

Step 2- Remove both torx screws from bottom of cup holder

Step 3- Pull up on entire cup holder piece to pop out clips

Step 4- Once cup holder piece is out you can remove factory cubby

Step 5- Factory cubby gator clips on back side need to be transferred to the new carbon cubby before installation

Step 6- Once clips are installed, carbon cubby can be pushed into factory spot

Step 7- Put cup holder piece back into place

Step 8- Fasten both torx screws and install inner rubber piece

I'm very pleased....It really completes the appearance and visually extends the center console to the rear...

Looks great! Thanks for sharing. I’m also tempted to get their carbon piece for the bottom of the steering wheel. I like how it wraps around the sides compared to my Rexpeed piece

Looks great, If you can make that one, Why not make it a little wider and deeper. Then we can can actually put things in it! Hint NV specialties:)

Wish we could, but once you remove the cubby cover you'll see there is no room to make it deeper...Also, its not likely NVS would redesign direct-replacement parts...

Damn that looks good. Would love to do that piece and the center console. Would really flow well.

Here is a pic of cubby space with console removed...It should be obvious as to why this would be difficult to do...

As I mentioned earlier expanding the cubby simply can't be done with a replacement part....

Thanks I just got mine this week...did yours have any screws securing the factory rear armrest when you went to remove it? Mine appears to have holes intended for screws so that it would be secure but there were none. Wondering if I can buy a screw and thread it in just because the replacement one I got keeps "popping up" and doesn't quite fit 100% perfect

No...the factory doesn't install screws located under the cubby pad...they just utilize the 5 clips to secure it in place...did you transfer the 5 metal gator clips from the OE posts over to the CF cubby posts? Mine holds very well and I had no problem with fitment...
