Aimgain GT Wing Color for Nocturnal Black

My Aimgain body kit and wing are supposed to ship out next week.

I called a body shop to discuss paint/install. The lower lip pieces are going to be satin black to match the lip/diffuser that's already there. I assumed that I would want the GT wing to be matched to the body. The body shop guy suggested that satin black on that piece might look good since other parts of the car are already satin black.

What do you guys think? I know on the red, white, and yellow cars, a satin black wing looks great. Would it look weird to have a satin black wing on a metallic black body? Or would it look weird to have a body-matched wing? Thanks!

Once you have it roughly installed, you can see the photos and make the choice yourself. Body matched wing would look better IMO but I have nothing to compare it to.

I am curious to see the kit in person.

My vote is for satin black. It will bring some satin up to the top and I think it would be a nice balance with all the satin on the bottom trim plus the satin "vents" on the hood

I would go with body-matched wing in this case personally

and keep the rest of the lower pieces satin as you said, I think it will look dope

I have my aimgain wing ordered. I’m planning on paint matching it. I have a Nocturnal.

Have my aimgain ordered as well, also on white. Right now I’m leaning towards satin black, and adding a couple strips similar to the 2021.

IMO...anytime anyone makes an exterior addition, the question should be asked: Do I want it to stand out and catch the eye, or do I want it to be more subdued. A body-matched color will tend to blend with the overall body whereas a different color will be eye-catching.

My personal preference is to blend. If the wing is worthy, it will promote itself.

Here is a pic that someone posted on our FB group of an Aimgain GT wing color matched and mounted on Nocturnal Black Supra...They also have a rear spoiler lip added which I'm not really feeling....

Nice! Looks like it has the whole kit. The red is a bit distracting, but I do like the wing.

yeah, I agree..If you can look past the red accents the wing is amazing....but far my favorite wing available which really complements the Supras lines...
