I am not sure it is worth the effort since you have to replace the Supra's similar brace and it doesn't look like it will clear the fins on the diff (could be wrong). Also, the Supra has the rear strut bar behind the seats unlike the Z4.

I remember reading about that support being there because the Z4 is a convertible...extra rigidity, etc. I really doubt the flimsy hollow rear strut bar that's not even mounted to the chassis would provide much of anything.

It looks like bolts to the chasis on each side under the trim to me... Otherwise it is a a useless bar getting in the way of my seats recline.

Replacement Cusco brace with bolt holes for reference:

not sure if am seeing this correctly, but seems like It connects to the lower trunk area rather than the subframe, so I imply it's there to increase the convertible's bending rigidity; rendering less rattles and squeaks from the trunk I guess. the supra has a fat roof, so It doesn't need that.

with that said, Cusco's brace is better for performance IMHO, it triangulates the OEM center brace with the subframe braces, so, in theory it will have a direct effect on reducing the flex in the rear subframe bushings. but again A90 is super-car stiff, I doubt even with Cusco's unit one would feel any difference, *might* help a tinnnnny bit in 60ft times.
if it was my car, I would change the OEM control arms/soft bushings with pillowball ones first, then worry about chassis bracing ;)

That brace is there because as the Z4 is a convertible it needs it for more stability
So the Supra doesn't really need it

I added something similar to my F30 (BMW 335i sedan). I ordered the rear lower chassis brace from the F32 (435i coupe). It yielded about the same improvement as any other chassis brace... Mostly mid-corner stability over uneven surfaces. These are inexpensive upgrades with no real sacrifice. I never hesitate on those.
