Hi,
The car was fine starting normally and all of a sudden in the same day I tried to start the car but a message appears show that “vehicle key is missing” so I followed the manual to program the key but no benefit.
I tried the other key with all position possible and the could not detect the key.
Any advise for this issue.

I had the same issue, twice, each time I locked and unlocked the doors, then started the car. ( not sure if its association or casual relationship? but seemed to work.

I've heard that it's possible to get RF interference if you keep your FOB in the same pocket as your cell phone.

That used to happen to me all the time with my Civic. Key wouldn't work if it was in my pocket with my iPhone. I figured it had to do with the NFC. I got in the habit of keeping the key away from my phone.

If this happens to you - The issue is someone stole your car!!! and left a fake Supra in its place. If you check under the hood - You will also see there is no engine. Also the rims are plastic and the interior is inflated blow up leather seats.

Once you get your stolen car returned - the key will work again.

Unfortunately Toyota took the car and couldn’t fix only by ordering new ECU.
Ending up refounding my money back

Having the same issue recently, it used to happen rarely but now I can't start the car without putting the key next to the steering cloumn, just replaced the battery and still the same. Apparently an issue with the reciever. It is funny Toyota got this right in Corollas and Yariss but messed it in Supra!

Ah technology. Some days I just love the simplicity of my Jeep. Stab the key in the cylinder and go. No lane keeping, bsm, or proximity stuff.

It's funny to me how much more simple my 2018 4Runner is compared to the Supra. Only 2 years apart and from the "same" company yet one feels like something from the 90s to early 00s and the other is pretty loaded for today's standards.
