In the MHD datalog what is the difference between "Boost psi" and "boost mani psi"?

Is boost the pressure measured at the compressor discharge outlet and boost manifold pressure measured after the air charge passes through the intercooler? Assuming that is true, when tuner says his stage 1 tune runs 20 psi, is this pre or post intercooler?

Boost psi is measuredat the chargepipe, manifold is measured there. Manifold max reading is 22ish psi.

My most recent log with e50 tune shows boost target of 22.7, chargepipe boost 25.6 and manifold boost 17.7. So when a tuner says their Stage Two tune runs 24 psi, this is in the chargepipe? Also, isn't a difference of 8 psi across the intercooler a lot?
