Ugh unfortunately I didn’t get it in writing. Didn’t think I needed to when the salesman said he would let the guys prepping the car know. I’m going to call then tomorrow. Luckily I hear a witness worry me that hears the salesman tell me that. It’s just a shame to do that to any new car let alone this car. Thank you for your suggestion. And thanks! I love the color.
Ugh, that sucks. My salesman said the exact same thing. Which was great because I forgot to tell them to not install the bracket. When he said I shouldn’t install it, it reminded me and I confirmed with him to not put it on. Great salesman, and when I picked it up there was the bracket, in the trunk where it belongs. I Mounted the front plate with the Perrin mount.

Good luck on your decision. So many good cars to choose from these days. Good deals to be had fir sure on 20 models. I used the 21 news with my dealer to drive my deal. His jaw dropped I swear when I told him I knew the 21 coming was a higher hp car and these 20’s are going to be really hard to move the longer you sit on them.

Nice 911.

They will likely give you a good deal due to the 2021. People have been getting crazy good deals on these! If your going to use premium fuels (ethanol, race fuel, methanol, etc) than the 2020 may be more desired for stock turbo power levels. =D

Update: Dealer said they would replace the bumper. I purchased the Perrin side mount. Just waiting for them to get the painted bumper in. Big things to come!!!

Long time lurker. Don't have anything special to say really. Created an account so I could follow threads about other Toyota projects and the Supra more easily. Maybe also ask a few questions about some things. :)

Welcome to the group Oscar. Very informative here and good members to exchange ideas with. Tell about your Supra and any mods you may have planned.

I'm Joe. I sold my 2018 BMW M2 about 6 weeks ago and I've been looking at a few cars, 2018 M4, 2019 Camaro ZL1, 2020 BMW M340i xdrive, even a 2017 Jaguar F-type R. All of these cars were from 53-60k and price is a big factor for me. Not just price but getting a good deal. I've always loved the Supra but not for at 58k. So when the sales manager called me from Toyota and said he would sell me one, MSRP $57,640 for $48,000 even, it was a no brainer!

Hi Suggs, I just posted my intro. You're buying for the exact same reason I am. 10k off MSRP is an incredible deal. There is no way anyone can get that deal on a 2021. The differences on a 2021 is a software tune, the two aluminum arms between the strut tower brace, a radiator support and a new exhaust port design and different pistons, which allows for a lower compression ratio from 11.0:1 to 10.2:1.

I would definitely rather save thousands on a 2020. You can buy some of the options on the 2021 and still have a lot of money left in your pocket.
