Titan protune version 2

Just upgraded intake and turbo to pure800 turbo! Installed boostlogic exhaust boostlogic down pipe running map 7 on my titan protune on 100 trick fuel. Took it out to go full send at the track and as soon as my car hit 120 Mph it completely fell flat On the power!! Just as I was getting ready to upgrade to a ECU tech tune I called Titan motorsports Explain to them over the phone what happened and the guy was very helpful told me the pure turbo doesn’t jive with the pro tune V1 and they have a V2 coming out so if anybody has the same issue I guess there’s fix and it’s free Sending me an updated map in the mail!

I'm very confused, you installed a Pure800 and you're still running just a piggyback? If so, you really need to get an actual tune. At this point (if I understand correctly), you are running the compressor map for a much smaller turbo than what you actually have. This means the car is requesting X amount of boost and getting X+a butt ton more.

This is not something that can be changed using any piggyback and REQUIRES an ECU flash tune. I am pretty sure Titan misunderstood what you were saying, but I am 99% sure you cannot in any way shape or form run a bigger turbo successfully on a stock ecu tune.

Yes you are correct the guy said he’s going to send me a reflashed tune with all my mods I had mentioned. I’m not sure if he’s swapping out my old module for the updated one? But he’s supposed to ship it tomorrow!! Luckily the car still runs and drives good with old tune just is slow as hell if you go full send lol I will definitely be updating to a Ecu tech If it sucks lol we shall see

Yeah the pro tune was a good tune for stock cars purchased it a week after I got my car back in November before there were lots of tunes available. But now that I’m going to be running pure800 and flex fuel in a few months titan Motorsports is hooking me up with a ecuteck so I can hopefully be making close to 600-680hp probably won’t be able to get much more out of it without a transmission tune and a upgraded fuel system! In the coming weeks I will be putting the titan pro tune V1 up for sale if anyone is interested drop me a line

If I'm reading it correctly, it sounds like Titan is sending him an Ecutek (flash) to replace the protune.

Yeah titan highly recommended Ecu tech and it’s on the way going to run data logs from me to them get it dialed in correctly
