It still bothers me that BMS hasn't officially listed this as a valid Supra part and makes me suspicious.. I bet they're waiting for early adopters to try and then they'll validate it? or maybe not..

You could be right but it either works or it doesn't.. plus, I had to remove an inch or so of material from the engine cover and personally think that'd be enough reason not to market it toward Supras.. how many people would be willing to destroy their covers for a mod like this?

Time will tell though and will post updates.

Those who have no intention of modifying any part of Supra are not likely to get a catch can anyhow, but just like how the intakes allowed for strut bar of Eventuri and others, they can see the need and design their aftermarket parts accordingly and maybe they even do right now, I don't know. After all there are CF engine cover variants. Ps OEM replacement is $200, AMS engine cover is ~$390, so it's not not affordable.

Is that a cone filter inside the factory airbox? If not does it have a cover?
That is the factory air box. I've yet to find an aftermarket intake that takes up as little room as this and is the only solution I found to allow room for the catch can.

That intake cone is not recommended for supras. I had the same one and my tuner told me to take it off ASAP a soon as he tuned me. It is not a proper intake and stock air box is not a proper heat sheild for it. I was sucking in way to much heat and actually loosing power. He told me I was better off with stock air box. So I did that until my afe intake came in. I do miss the noises it provided though. But I rather have power over noise

I installed this part a few days ago... I didn't like how it mounted to only a plastic panel with no support, so I changed the mounting orientation around.... Here is the final result for me...

I landed under a plastic shroud and bolted to the frame. However, this has me wanting to relocate the catch can so I can fit a sealed intake like yours. Thanks for sharing!

Great stuff , seems like it's my next mod.
Does it have a mesh filter / baffle on the inside?
